What’s on the docket?

Maryland introduced House Bill 349 on January 17, 2024 requiring the Department of Aging to contract with an independent consultant to conduct an insurance study on public and private options for leveraging resources to help individuals prepare for long-term care services and support needs. Senate Bill 631 was also introduced in 2024, but both Senate Bill 631 and House Bill 349 were withdrawn by the bills' legislative sponsors. There will be no study legislation considered this session.
